The Tactics App allows users to create football tactics, coaching, analysis and scouting projects.
Depending on how you use the application, a project may contain information such as:
- Tactical formations
- Player objects
- Player names
- Shirt numbers
- Player positions
- Team names
- Squad information
- Equipment
- Shapes
- Drawings
- Tactical movements
- Animations
- Tactical instructions
- General notes
- Player-specific notes
- Scouting notes

- Other information entered by you
The Tactics App does not currently allow users to upload external images, documents or other files into projects.
10. Local Project Files
Projects saved locally are stored on your own computer.
The contents of a locally stored project are not automatically uploaded to PCTACTICS APP LTD or our cloud infrastructure.
A local project remains stored locally unless you choose to save or synchronise that project with our cloud services.
You are responsible for managing, protecting and deleting files stored locally on your own computer.
Deleting your Tactics App account will not automatically delete project files that you have independently saved to your computer.
11. Cloud Projects
The Tactics App provides cloud storage functionality using Microsoft Azure.
If you choose to save or synchronise a project to the cloud, information contained within that project will be transmitted to and stored using our Azure cloud infrastructure.
Cloud storage enables functionality including:
- Saving projects to your account
- Accessing projects through authorised devices
- Synchronising projects between devices
- Maintaining cloud-based copies of your projects
Cloud project information may include any of the project information described in Section 9.
Our Access to Your Projects
PCTACTICS APP LTD staff and administrators cannot view the contents of your cloud projects through our systems.
Your project information is processed by our systems and cloud infrastructure where necessary to provide storage and synchronisation functionality.
We do not review your tactical projects for marketing purposes and we do not use the content of your projects to advertise products or services to you.
12. Information About Players and Other People
The Tactics App allows users to enter information about players, coaches, staff members and other individuals who may not themselves have a Tactics App account.
For example, a coach, scout or analyst may enter:
- A player’s name
- Shirt number
- Position
- Squad information
- Player-specific notes
- Scouting notes
- Coaching observations
- Staff names or information
If you enter personal information about another person into The Tactics App, you are responsible for ensuring that you are authorised to do so and have an appropriate lawful basis for collecting, using and storing that information.
This is particularly important for clubs, academies, coaches, analysts and scouts using The Tactics App professionally.
Where a user, club or organisation decides what personal information about players or other individuals should be entered into a project and why that information is being used, that user or organisation may be the data controller responsible for that information.
Where PCTACTICS APP LTD processes that information solely to provide cloud storage, synchronisation and associated technical services, PCTACTICS APP LTD may act as a data processor on behalf of that user or organisation.
Users should only enter personal information that is reasonably necessary for their intended use of The Tactics App.
13. Sensitive Personal Information
The Tactics App is not specifically designed for storing sensitive information such as:
- Medical records
- Detailed health information
- Biometric information
- Criminal records
- Information about racial or ethnic origin
- Religious or philosophical beliefs
- Sexual orientation
- Other special category personal information
Users should avoid entering this type of information into projects unless they have a clear lawful basis and appropriate authority to process it.
If you use The Tactics App on behalf of a club, academy or other organisation, you are responsible for following your organisation’s own data protection policies when entering information into projects.
14. Children and Young People
The Tactics App is primarily designed as a football tactics, coaching, analysis and scouting application.
There is currently no general minimum age for creating a Tactics App account.
However, additional data protection rules may apply when personal information about children is collected or used.
If a user is a child and applicable law requires parental or guardian consent for a particular activity or type of processing, appropriate consent must be obtained.
Where we rely specifically on consent to provide an online service directly to a child, additional requirements may apply to users under the relevant age of digital consent.
If you are a coach, scout, analyst, club, academy or other user entering information about a child or youth player, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the appropriate authority and lawful basis to process that information.
We recommend avoiding unnecessary identifying information about children within projects.
